藍色光の防汚・抗菌・浄化作用に関する研究成果の社会実装
Social implimentation of research results
on the bioactivity of blue-violet (BV) light.
フジツボ幼生の自家蛍光の観察から、藍色光が生物の生態分布に極めて重要な役割を果たしているのではないか？と直感し、藍色光の海洋付着生物及び微生物への影響について、室内・野外照射試験を行ってまいりました。その結果、藍色光が、様々な防汚・抗菌作用を持つことを世界に先駆けて発見しました。
さらに、藍色光の持つ活性と安全性について詳細な検討を行った結果、藍色光の持つ新たな生物化学活性を発見するとともに、環境に応じた波長と照射条件の最適系を新たに発明・構築いたしました。また、新たな光伝搬原理技術についても研究・開発を進めております。
これらの最新研究成果の社会実装を、私達の重要なミッションの一つとしています。

We were the first in the world to find that blue violet light has repellent effects on marine fouling larvae, inhibits their settlement and growth, and suppresses biofilm formation.
Furthermore, through detailed investigations into the biochemical activity and safety of blue-violet light, we have invented and established optimized wavelength and irradiation conditions tailored to various practical needs. We are also advancing research and development on a new light‑propagation technology.
Implementing these research findings in society is one of our key missions.
